Learning objectives

Students will observe different types of cells, including animal, plant, and bacterial. Students will also compare prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and identify unknown cells.

Real world application

Often in Biology, structure is related to function. Different tissues have cells with different structures to support biological processes. Viewing samples of these cells increases understanding of cellular roles.
